ROLE PROFILE:
Organized, detail-oriented professional who is motivated to serve and help others. This person should be calm and confident, friendly and caring, and maintain a high level of accountability. A person in this position should be comfortable handling multiple tasks at once with a high degree of competency and should be driven to exceed expectations and achieve goals. They should have the ability to work with a team in an efficient manner, as well as be comfortable in a scribe position.
PRIMARY RESPONSBILITIES:
- Conduct all patient encounter in the clinic.
- Perform all contact lens duties including but not limited to: ordering, receiving, final inspection, status updates, exchanges or non-adapts, and product dispensing/fitting.
- Periodically compare pricing among manufacturers to ensure maximum net profit (protect the bottom line).
- Understand and execute our values and policies to provide an excellent customer service and experience.
- Use clinic & technical knowledge to develop problem-solving abilities that will allow for efficient and effective troubleshooting of clinic equipment malfunctions.
- Ensure all supplies for the clinic & contact lens departments remain organized, easily accessible, and fully stocked.
- Act on key metrics to achieve performance goals.
CAREER PATH
- Complete “New Dispenser” Zeiss online training curriculum (within 1st month).
- Complete the TSO “New Associate” training program (within 6mo).
- Complete the Certified Paraoptometric Assistant (CPOA) Certification from the AOA (within 1st year)
- Complete the Certified Paraoptometric Technician (CPOT) Certification from the AOA (within 2 years)
- Complete the National Contact Lens Examiner (NCLE) Certification (within 3 years)
- Optional certifications: American Board of Opticianry (ABO) Certification

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
