Optical Technician

Optical Technician:

As an Optical Lab Technician, you will work closely with engineers and scientist contributing to the development of optical, opto-mechanical, and opto-electrical systems, sub-systems and components for various products. You are organized with your work and detail orientated.

• Fabricate, assemble, align, test optical, opto-electrical, and opto-mechanical components, sub-systems and systems
• Operate various optical instruments
• Manage lab/shop materials and supplies and maintain lab/shop readiness
• Provide feedback on assembly and test process and help red line procedures

Qualifications

• Technical school or equivalent with 3+ years’ experience
• Experience working with optical components, cleaning, cutting, aligning, measuring
• Proficient with basic computer skills, experience with MS Word and Excel
• Proficient with basic math skill
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
