Top New York area ophthalmologist is looking for a bi-lingual, energetic, highly self-motivatedPatient Scheduling Team Leader to join our dynamic and high energy team in Manhattan. As a Patient Scheduling Team Leader at our vision center, you will be responsible for providing top-of-class service to our patients and leadership to our call team. You will help create process, accountability structure and reporting to ensure proper handling of incoming new patient inquiries. You will receive incoming phone inquiries from new patients and coordinate their visit with appropriate team members in an efficient and professional manner and ensure the same is completed by the team also taking calls for the practice. You and your team will be responsible for outbound communications to new inquiries for our optical services (Lasik, cataract surgery, EVO ICL, and more). The role is responsible to oversee our call team and ensure integration of all systems with the team. You be responsible for the data analysis, and supporting the team to increase conversion of new patient inquiries to patients that attend in-person consultations with our Patient Coordinator team.

The right candidate must be poised, professional, and excited to lead our team in their responsibilities of explaining the value of our practice and getting patients scheduled for consultations. Attention to detail is a “must” for scheduling appointments and providing leadership to the call team.

The role reports to the Office Manager. More important to have sales/leadership, optical part can be taught.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Leadership and sales experience in a medical environment.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills, bilingual in English/Spanish is a must.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while staying focused and getting tasks across the finish line.
• Proven experience with data aggregation and analysis to optimize team workflow and productivity.
• Comfortable working on computers, utilizing multiple types of office, medical and sales software to complete the majority of daily tasks.
• Warm and welcoming phone etiquette with extensive experience in customer service and patient support.
• Passion to make a positive impact in our patients and teammates daily experiences.
• Strong desire to grow personally and professionally with a natural tendency to go above and beyond in all you do.
• Desire to be coached, ability to give and receive feedback in a positive manner.
• Knowledge of eye and vision procedures is preferred, but can be taught to the right candidate

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Compensation: $65,000-$80,000 total compensation (annually salary + incentives)
• Schedule: 5 day work week, hours varied based upon practice & patient needs some Saturdays required

• 401(k): After 1 year of employment
• Paid Time Off & Holidays: Available after 1 year of employment 10 days PTO + 5 major holidays. PTO increases with additional years of service.
