This position monitors performance of processing operation by performing day-to-day, near real-time checks to determine how well processing tools, techniques and procedures are performing.
This position is contingent upon contract award, subsequent funding, and clearance cross-over.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SSBI.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or a related field and 4+ years of experience.
- Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
- Good organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform tasks on a team with supervision and guidance.
Required Job Functions
- Obtain and administer the mission data necessary for daily performance monitoring.
- Identify options for optimizing performance of processing systems.
- Log discrepancies to the processors ability to collect and characterize signals of interest.
- Recommend modifications to processing operating policies.
- Review or create trouble reports for processing system anomalies.
- Develop tasking criteria for the emitter mapping architecture.
- Coordinate tasking and execution of emitter mapping capabilities with partner overhead tasking organizations.
- Monitor performance of processing systems during calibration activities, as required.
- Develop and maintain ground processing system metrics to support optimization for detection, processing, geolocation, and dissemination timeliness, throughput, and quality.
- Maintain trending statistics to support evaluation of tasking and system output.
- Provide timely and accurate responses to customer requests for metrics.
- Develop scripts to support the extraction of metrics.
- Shift work may be required to support 24/7 operations.
