HOW WILL YOU MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN?
Matching rules and review of content and approach to validate existing and recommending additional items or actions that will improve Data Quality. This will be inclusive of reviewing current rules against essential Customer and Contact data Standards, identifying gaps (e.g., which rules will need to be developed), and providing thought leadership on if those gaps will be addressed via SFDC validate rules and/or IDQ rule development. The outcome of this deliverable will empower SFDC and IDQ teams to develop robust Data Quality rules in support of the essential Customer and Contact data. Facilitate Party and Customer definition in partnership with the client's Data governance and stewardship team (dependent on the client designating the DG Stewardship lead, Sponsors, Stewards, and functional SMEs by week 3 of the engagement). This will also support the Customer Portal effort which is an active business objective, as well as alignment to MDM and customer attribute definition.
YOU WILL:
From existing client data validation rules, document and align on standards, taxonomy, and identify if there are duplicate rules being applied in more than one instance and identify gaps.
Develop recommendations that include rules for improved Data Quality, and support redundancy where appropriate.
This will be inclusive of reviewing current rules against essential Customer and Contact data Standards, identifying gaps (e.g., which rules will need to be developed), and providing thought leadership on if those gaps will be addressed via SFDC validate rules and/or IDQ rule development.
The outcome of this deliverable will empower SFDC and IDQ teams to develop robust Data Quality rules (e.g., SFDC validation rules and/or IDQ rules) in support of the essential Customer and Contact data.
This effort should also take into consideration how these rules will support the Data Quality remediation as well as the ongoing monitoring dashboards.
