Form of work The Energy Supply Specialist is responsible for real-time optimization of the electric energy supply portfolio through monitoring and directing the Companys generation assets (output of steam, combustion turbines, and nuclear plants). Coordinate generation dispatch and transaction activity with PJM, NYISO, ISO-NE
Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office

*6-8 month assignment- MUST BE ONSITE 80 Park Plz
*Shift work required12hr shifts (mostly day) rotate between days and nights. Total of 14 12hr shifts per month and work every other weekend. Day shift: 5:30am to 5:30pm Night shift: 5:30am to 5:30pm
* Due to the shift, they will get a parking tag to park underneath the building
Operations desk that dispatches all power plants
Skillsets: highly organized, attn. to detail, multi-task
Working with portfolio analysts, working on structure of things, there is a learning curve but willing to train
Enter values into market (for generators for example)
Great experience for people coming into a work force (open to new graduates from engineering, finance, business, etc. ) things that show you have technical abilities
Working 36 hrs one week and then 48 hrs the next week ( 84 hrs in a 2 wk period)
Excel a requirement? Yes strong plus
Studied something technical ( if work force, somewhere in fast paced environment with many priorities)

o They are the eyes and ears, they work with portfolio analysts and strategize the market. Task work that is time sensitive, follow a template and making deadlines, organizing
