The Sales Operations Specialist role is responsible for developing and analyzing business KPIs, measuring the performance of sellers and accounts, and all business reporting. The individual in this position will work with sales and support leadership to make recommendations on achieving financial goals by providing insight from analyzing sales data and delivering market research. This position is required to report to the SHI Somerset, NJ office location as determined by SHI management.

- Sales Forecasting: Analyzing past sales data and market trends to predict revenue, gross margin, and share change.
- Sales Reporting: Generating timely and regular reports on sales performance, trends, and forecasts for management review.
- Pipeline & Deal Registration Management: Monitoring and managing sales pipeline & DRs, ensuring health and efficient progression.
- Sales Productivity Metrics: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team to measure and improve their effectiveness.
- Data Analysis: Analyzing sales and customer data to identify patterns, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Vendor Performance Tracking: Coordinate with the Partner Development Manager and roll up vendor performance against targets, with timely alerts highlighting gaps and maximizing earnings.
- Market Research: Conduct Canadian market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, customer preferences, and vendor priorities.
- CRM account hygiene: account level management to ensure parent/child relationships are mapped, add/subtract book of account coordination.
- Customer QBR/ABR: Assist sales teams with customer planning & review sessions. Leverage market data and various internal data points to drive margin growth and customer value discussions.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience required
- 2 years of experience in data analytics, operations, and/or sales
- 4 years of experience/working knowledge of sales structures and processes
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to plan and multitask
- Proactive and persistent personality
- Strong understanding of SHI strategy and core competencies
- Ability to partner with SHI stakeholders and senior leadership
- Ability to problem solve and work independently
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of Dynamics CRM, Power BI, AX & SharePoint
- Up to 10% travel is a requirement for the position (i.e., travel to the SHI Sales Conference)
- Hybrid role – required to report to SHI HQs 3 days a week
- This position will support our Canadian sales teams
- The estimated annual pay range for this position is $60,000 - $85,000 which includes a base salary. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
