Position:Operations Manager
As the Operations Manager at Coronado Paint & Decorating, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our business. From overseeing inventory management to optimizing processes, your leadership will contribute to the continued success of our employee-owned company.

Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:

• Provide strategic leadership to ensure the overall efficiency and effectiveness of daily operations.
• Collaborate with department heads to align operational processes with company objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.

Inventory Management:

• Oversee inventory control, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing discrepancies.
• Implement best practices for inventory organization, storage, and tracking.
• Work closely with suppliers to optimize product availability and manage stock replenishment.

Process Optimization:

• Evaluate current operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Implement streamlined procedures to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity.
• Foster a culture of operational excellence and innovation within the team.

Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement training programs as needed.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
• Implement and oversee safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address and rectify any compliance issues.

Vendor Relations:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate favorable terms, prices, and contracts to optimize procurement processes.
• Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for improvements.

Requires:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in a retail or operations environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
• Experience in inventory management, process optimization, and team development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements and implement best practices.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with the retail and construction materials industry is a plus.
