As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient functioning of our manufacturing site. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing quality maintenance, production processes, and various plant manufacturing functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize day-to-day operations to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Oversee quality maintenance protocols and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce production costs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance teams to streamline processes and drive innovation.
- Champion the implementation of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, 6S, etc., to enhance productivity and eliminate waste.
- Analyze production metrics and performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in operations management within the automotive, aerospace, or medical manufacturing industries.
- Strong understanding of quality operations and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated proficiency in implementing and sustaining continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, 6S, etc.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common goals.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex data sets and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
