In the Operations Managerposition, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all projects for lawn maintenance, landscape, and irrigation in multiple locations. You will make sure that all jobs are running consistently and efficiently. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining effective relationships and communication both internally and externally. A summary of your job duties includes, but are not limited to the following:
Performance & Quality
- Bring solid business insight and strong leadership abilities to inspire your team and drive efficiency and profitability.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, the goal will be to drive retention to a 95% account renewal rate.
- Work with the Controller/Account Manager to track profitability for each job.
- Inspect properties for overall job quality.
- Accurately estimating jobs.
Client Relations
- Develop long-term relationships and exceptional client communication.
- Coordinate and manage Production and Account Managers, Irrigation Maintenance Technicians and ultimately their crews.
Sales
- Work with the Production and Account Managers, as well as Irrigation Maintenance Technicians to drive enhancement sales-DAILY.
- Assist the Account Manager throughout the proposal process.
- Manage ongoing Enhancements for each property ensuring that proposals are accurate for Lawn Maintenance and Irrigation to create revenue.
Operations and Skills
- Must understand the ins and outs of landscape/irrigation installation, irrigation maintenance, and lawn maintenance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the operations department.
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate goals, objectives, and expectations.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proven experience in supervising teams and managing employee performance.
- Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Demonstrated business development skills with a focus on driving growth and profitability.
- Strategic planning abilities to align operational activities with organizational goals
- Sales experience to support business growth initiatives.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire teams towards achieving targets.
- Ability to effectively manage resources, including budgeting and cost control measures
- Proficient in analyzing data and making data-driven decisions.
- Ensuring proper use and care of all branch assets.
- Planning and scheduling field and support operations to meet contractual specifications and exceed client expectations.
- Work with the Admin team to ensure all information relating to billing, accounts payable, payroll is completed and accurate.
- Monthly inventory of all equipment and make sure our equipment is properly maintained.
- Monitor crews’ locations with GPS to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Meetings with Production Managers to go over schedules and details.
- Meetings with ownership, providing monthly reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill and computer efficient.
Personnel
- Identifying staffing needs to ensure we are exceeding our customers’ expectations.
- Organize Production Managers to build better efficiencies.
- Guide the training and development of team members, employee reviews and develop growth plans.
- Implementing and enforcing Bermuda policies and procedures and administering discipline as needed.
Safety
- Implementing methods to improve workplace safety and maintain a stellar safety record.
- Conducting PPE and Safety Toolbox Talks on as regular basis.
- 1st point of contact for Worker’s Comp claims; assist HR with follow-through to close claims as quickly as possible.
Work Conditions
- Ability to endure Florida weather conditions at job sites and plant nurseries.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
