Key Details:

• Pay: Between $55K-$60K per year, depending on experience.
• Benefits:
• Location: 2995 SW Advance Rd, Wilsonville, OR 97070. This position is primarily onsite during the open and busy seasons with occasional opportunities for remote work during seasonal downtimes or decreased business levels.
• Schedule: Full time 40 hours per week, must be flexible on days worked and available on weekends.

From the lively Summer Walkabout, where guests can interact with 60+ animals, enjoy the picnic area, and partake in various yard games, to the Fall Pumpkin Patch filled with farm activities and the opportunity to pick up a pumpkin or fall holiday decor. Additionally, we host school tours, birthday parties, and a Christmas Holiday Experience featuring pre-cut Christmas trees, a holiday market, and special appearances by Santa Claus. • Proven track record in day-to-day operations of a Customer Service, Food/Beverage Management, Hospitality, or General/Operations Management environment.
• Hands-on experience in Event Management with a focus on overseeing events, team management, and customer interactions.
• Demonstrated success in hiring, training, and managing teams.
• Financial acumen with experience in financial management, sales oversight, and data analysis.
• Enthusiastic about business growth through innovative event concepts, collaborative marketing efforts, and long-term growth strategies.
• Proficiency in using social media tools and platforms.
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn local regulations related to operations and events.
• Ability to engage with individuals from various backgrounds and viewpoints, fostering an inclusive atmosphere.
• Ability to work flexible hours, especially during peak seasons and special events.
• Ability to pass pre-employment reference checks and background check.

Position Overview: As our Operations manager you'll orchestrate unforgettable experiences and lead a dynamic team in creating memorable moments for visitors of all ages. As the heart of our operations, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting immersive events, ensuring seamless visitor experiences, and fostering a vibrant atmosphere of joy and discovery. Responsibilities consist of:

• Event Management and Visitor Experience: Plan and execute diverse seasonal events such as summer walkabouts, birthday parties, school tours, and holiday markets, ensuring seamless operations and delightful experiences for visitors. Lead by example, stepping in to execute tours when needed, especially during peak seasons. Oversee engaging family-friendly activities, transforming the farm for pumpkin patch and Christmas tree events, and strategize operational plans to accommodate increased visitor traffic.
• Team Leadership: Lead recruitment, hiring, and training of seasonal team members, fostering a positive and collaborative environment. Train and supervise team members to confidently lead farm tours and birthday parties, emphasizing customer satisfaction and safety.
• General Management: Maintain hands-on involvement in daily operations, ensuring smooth farm functions. Uphold safety and customer satisfaction standards, oversee the farm store, and collaborate with team members to manage on-site event logistics.
• Financial Oversight: Generate financial reports, analyze sales data, manage financial paperwork, and implement balanced till systems for transparency and optimization.
• Marketing and Sales: Oversee physical signage and create strategic photo opportunities across the farm. Collaborate with marketing partners to conceptualize and promote events, foster community interaction on social media platforms, and maximize attendance and engagement.
• Other duties as assigned.
