Are you a seasoned Nurse leader with a passion for surgical excellence? If so, our client is looking for you to join their dynamic team. A leading health system near North Bend, Oregon, they are Joint Commission-accredited and in search of an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager for their Operating Room.
Position Overview:
In this role, the Clinical Nurse Manager (RN) will oversee the daily operations of their surgical services department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. He/she will lead a team of dedicated nurses and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Compensation:
Competitive salary up to $140K depending on experience, plus $20,000 sign-on Bonus. Relocation Bonus also provided where applicable.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the Operating Room staff, including nurses, surgical technicians, and support personnel.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet patient care needs efficiently.
- Monitor quality metrics and implement performance improvement initiatives as needed.
- Mentor and coach staff, promoting professional development and a positive work environment.
- Participate in budget planning and fiscal management for the Operating Room department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current RN license in the state of Oregon or in process.
- Minimum of 5 years of acute care clinical experience in perioperative nursing, with 2 years progressive leadership responsibilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
