Job Description
- Overseeing general cleaners of guest rooms, public areas and back of the house to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Greet guests and visitors warmly and make them feel welcomed and attended.
- Retrieve and store lost and found items, and answer inquiries to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Assisting guests with their needs, inquiries, and requests to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Providing information about property facilities and services.
- Assisting with check-in and check-out processes, handling reservations, and addressing guest concerns or complaints.
- Act as a point of contact for guests and strive to create a positive and memorable experience for them.
- Supervise/Oversee Maint & Security team in the absence of City Manager/Market Director.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
- Must be willing to "pitch in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. Assisting in other departments if needed.
- Ability to stand, walk and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions for duration of shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking significant distances between and within buildings on the property with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
What We're Looking For:
- At least 2 years Housekeeping leadership work experience is required. Previous Guest Service leadership experience preferred. Hotel and/or Vacation Rental experience strongly preferred.
- Bilingual - Ability to speak & understand Spanish is strongly preferred.
- Flexible schedule availability is required.
- Organized, hardworking, ownership mentality and detail-oriented.
- Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking.com, Airbnb, Trip Advisor, etc.
- High energy, bubbly personality and customer service attitude.
- Must have a service-oriented mindset and be capable of making every guest feel valued.
- An ability to interact professionally and responsibly with guests, management and vendors.
- A self-starter with a positive attitude, who has the ability to work effectively both in a team environment as well as independently.
- Unintimidated by using mobile apps while in the field for team collaboration and communication (experience with Slack, Google Suite).
- Flexible schedule and is open to working evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Use of a personal vehicle, valid Driver’s License, clean driving record, and proof of insurance are strongly preferred.
