Operations Manager For Security Business

We are seeking an Operations Manager with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly-regarded team. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing the security officer staff in Lafayette, LA.

Previous management experience is preferred. Prior law enforcement, military and/or 2 years of security experience is a plus. Full-time, salaried position, benefits offered include medical/vision/dental/life insruance, company cell phone and company vehicle.

As Operation Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing a local Security Office
  
  • Scheduling security officer staff.
  • Fielding call-offs and filling vacant posts as needed.
  • Conducting Interviews and various aspects of the hiring process.
  • Scheduling officers for training classes.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with the client.
  • Performing regular inspections of the security staff.
    
  
  
• You must meet the following requirements:
  
  • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
  • Sound communication skills Professional presentation.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Willingness and ability to work to a flexible roster, 7 days a week.
  • Reliable transport.
  • 21 years of age.
  • Clean criminal background Ability to pass a drug screen.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, perform routine foot patrols.

• Physical/Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to operate general office equipment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate using verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working with office equipment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
