We are seeking an Operations Manager with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly-regarded team. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing the security officer staff in Lafayette, LA.
Previous management experience is preferred. Prior law enforcement, military and/or 2 years of security experience is a plus. Full-time, salaried position, benefits offered include medical/vision/dental/life insruance, company cell phone and company vehicle.
As Operation Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a local Security Office
- Scheduling security officer staff.
- Fielding call-offs and filling vacant posts as needed.
- Conducting Interviews and various aspects of the hiring process.
- Scheduling officers for training classes.
- Maintaining positive relationships with the client.
- Performing regular inspections of the security staff.
- You must meet the following requirements:
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
- Sound communication skills Professional presentation.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Willingness and ability to work to a flexible roster, 7 days a week.
- Reliable transport.
- 21 years of age.
- Clean criminal background Ability to pass a drug screen.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, perform routine foot patrols.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
- Ability to operate general office equipment.
- Ability to effectively communicate using verbal and written skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working with office equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
