JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership and Supervision Responsibilities:
Serve as primary point of contact for communication of information, results, and expectations to management, employees, and other departments/stakeholders.
Direct daily, weekly, and monthly priorities for onsite O&M teams to complete in support of facility operation.
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 30+ employees (both direct and indirect) over multiple shifts, including staffing planning, PTO/coverage scheduling and approval, employee hiring and retention, performance reviews, coaching and development, counseling, and corrective action plans.
Implement policies and procedures that ensure safe and consistent execution of job plans and equipment maintenance, maintain working conditions in accordance with all quality and safety protocols, and develop employees' functional skills and capabilities.
Build and maintain strong collaboration and working relationships with other departments to achieve results, including Maintenance, I&E, Measurement, Engineering/Construction, Commercial, ES&H, and PSM.
Develop and maintain a positive organizational culture that values professional development and strives for continuous improvement.
Demonstrate initiative, ownership, and accountability towards best-in-class operational performance with respect to safety, environmental, and reliability.
Technical Responsibilities:
Responsible for the operational performance at the Red Hills complex for the Northern Delaware Operating Unit.
Monitor and manage plant KPI performance, including train throughput and utilization, equipment reliability, NGL recovery targets, product quality and specifications, and fuel gas consumption.
Monitor and manage cost control (approval of purchase orders and invoices) for monthly operating expenses, including employee scheduling and overtime, contract labor, chemical inventories, consumable materials (spare parts, filter elements), and other overhead expenses in support of the facility and its employees.
Ensure that facility operations maintain compliance with environmental air permits and guidelines/requirements for local, state, and federal jurisdictions (OSHA/PSM, EPA/RMP).
Direct priorities for onsite and contract resources to resolve bad actors.
Lead planning and scheduling of required equipment maintenance and plant outage job scopes in coordination with other departments, considering impacts to overall complex performance.
Maintain a prioritized queue of maintenance capital (MOE) projects considering operational needs and annual budget constraints.
Represent facility (and/or assign delegates) in PSM audits, incident investigations, root cause analysis (RCA) studies, and hazard and operability (HAZOP) and process hazard analysis (PHA) studies with field experience and operational expertise.
Ensure timely closeout of compliance action items (CPA/PSM/RMP) and work orders prior to due dates.
Conduct regular field reviews of job plans, work permitting, process/equipment troubleshooting, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), and operating/maintenance procedures.

Planning: forward thinking leader than can look ahead over at least a 30-day period and prepare action plans to achieve desired goals and objectives.
Problem Solving: aptitude to not only identify issues, obstacles, or problems but also develop timely and value-added solutions.
Sound judgement and decision-making abilities (both data driven and behavioral) are vital to success in this role.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present, persuade, and collaborate at the leadership level.
Minimum education of high school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum experience of 10 years in oil and gas midstream plant operations with increasing responsibilities.
Valid driver license required.
Position reports daily to Red Hills complex, Monday through Friday. Applicants must reside in Permian Basin or be willing to relocate.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite of software.
Ability to lift, push, and pull at least a minimum of 50 lbs.
Ability to work in changing climate conditions.
Able to work in close quarters: work while kneeling, squatting, sitting, climbing, and standing.
Follow and adhere to all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines: eye protection, footwear, 4-gas monitor, flame-resistant clothing).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience operating and/or supervising a midstream facility with multiple gas processing trains.
Prior experience operating and/or supervising a sour midstream facility with significant H2S concentrations.
Knowledge of amine treatment and TEG dehydration.
Knowledge of cryogenic processing and propane refrigeration.
Knowledge of general PLC control system functionality and instrumentation interfaces.
Knowledge of basic rotating equipment, including pumps and compressors.
Knowledge of fired heaters, thermal oxidizers, and combustors.
