Position Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Support all Value Streams in researching, designing, and developing the organization's manufacturing and fabrication methods, tools, and system
- Evaluate product design for manufacturability and suggest design process adjustments and quality improvements.
- Engage in the selection, development, and testing of tools, fixtures, machinery, and equipment used in manufacturing.
- Investigate manufacturing processes for cost reduction opportunities.
- Analyze workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout in order to maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, process, and/or production teams to meet quality, productivity, and cost objectives
- Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or related discipline required.
- 3-5 years or relevant experience in manufacturing environment, preferably medical device, aerospace, automotive, or a highly regulated industry.
- Fundamental understanding of manufacturing practices/processes.
- Fundamental understanding of LEAN Manufacturing, Six Sigma, DMAIC, and the Kaizen Process.
