- Bachelor's degree
Operations Engineers are part of a new product/technology development cycle responsible for the successful delivery of Alpha units for further testing and evaluation inside our fulfillment network. You will serve as a liaison between Fulfillment Center Operations (our customer) and the product design and development Engineers. This role will require the ability to build relationships across a cross functional team and capture and synthesize the voice of the customer. Their primary goal is to support the field activities including coordination and execution of installation, commissioning, facilitate testing and performance ramp up of the product allowing the design engineers and product team to focus on the system performance improvement and optimization.
As an Operations Engineer for Mechatronics and Sustainable Packaging Launch (MSP-L), you will be able to work with some of the most talented engineers in the design, development, and delivery of new technologies and advanced automated systems around the globe. You will support installations of complex cross-functional projects or programs that focus on the building of new, the alteration of existing, and the closing of end-of-life material handling and technology systems. As an Operations Engineer, you are able to support the implementation and delivery of complex system designs and advanced technology in ambiguous and complex problem spaces. You help integrate systems for safety, security, stability, and efficiency. You participate in the full system development life cycle, working within broadly defined parameters, including test plan execution and solution quality needs.

A day in the life
Operations Engineers primary goal is to own the field activities including coordination and execution of installation, commissioning, facilitate testing and performance ramp up of the product allowing the design engineers and product team to focus on the system performance improvement and optimization. This will require travel to numerous project sites, constant coordination with teams and vendors to manage the installation, commissioning and startup of production processes through new advanced technology products. Daily problem solving for ambiguous situations challenges engineers to be right a lot while inventing and simplifying issues to resolve and harden systems for operations.
