Operating Engineer role for a Data Center.
Job is for 2nd shift 3pm-11pm, Wednesday thru Sunday
Responsibilities include operating and maintaining equipment associated with HVAC, chilled water system, electrical and mechanical operations, safe and proper operation of life safety equipment and minor plumbing. Responsible to respond to customer requests, submit and close work orders, and perform other duties as assigned.
Ability to perform all work using the proper personnel protective equipment (PPE).
In strict accordance, ability to perform all applicable safety policies, procedures, and practices.
Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities.
Ability to prioritize with good time management skills.
Can work independently and consistently achieve results.
Communicate effectively, writing and verbally, with clients and peers.
Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays
Ability to lift and move 50 lbs of equipment; work on platforms, ladders and under raised floor
