Founded in 2012, Precision Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is a private practice group of board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons who focus on individualized care of their patients. We have 12 locations in the DMV area and meet the orthopedic needs of our patients with prompt appointments and caring staff.
This position will support the corporate team, mainly the VP of Operations, of an orthopedic practice in Laurel, MD. Precision has 12 offices across Maryland and 2 Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs).
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the operations team
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Set up new users in EMR, troubleshoot EMR, reset passwords, etc.
- Prepare and distribute documents using DocuSign or other electronic signature platforms
- Transcribe meeting minutes and maintain accurate records
- Utilize inventory management system to approve office order requests, coordinate maintenance requests, and support office managers as requested
- Maintain an organized filing system for documents and records
- Assist with special projects as assigned
Skills:
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Proficient in calendar management and scheduling appointments
- Familiarity with electronic signature platforms such as DocuSign
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of office management procedures and systems
- Experience with phone systems and front desk operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite
-Solid understanding of HIPAA is required
Requirements:
-3-5 years of relevent experience in healthcare required
-Proficiency and understanding of EMR systems is required
-Occasional travel to Precision's clinic locations may be required; must be able to travel as needed
-Bachelor's degree preferred
-Confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information is required

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
