SalaryWe are an ecommerce pet supply company in need of an Operations Assistant. This job is perfect for young professionals who are searching for experience in an office setting and would like to grow with a business. No degree is needed, but computer-literacy is necessary.
HOURS & PAY: You will be working in our Newport News office: 40 hours per week, 8am-4pm, Mon-Fri. Starting wage is $17/hr, with the opportunity to make $18/hr after your first year, and $20/hr after your third year.
TASKS:
- Preparing shipping documents and invoices online
- Extracting sales data from platforms and organizing it onto an excel
- Entering product information onto ecommerce platforms to create product listings
- Keeping inventory counts organized and setting it on multiple marketplaces
- Making price changes on multiple marketplaces
- Responding to customer inquiries about tracking their packages and other support topics
- Upkeep of our website

ABOUT THE COMPANY: We are a manufacturer of food and supplies for small pets. Our offices are connected to our 25k sq ft warehouse. We sell on our personal website, as well as distribute to Amazon, Chewy, and Petco. We are a small, family-owned business, yet are well established (25 years). Our friendly team is comprised of 4 office employees and 8 warehouse employees.
