Pool Operations Assistant

Woodlake Community Association (WCA) currently seeks to fill the position of Pool Operations Assistant with a uniquely qualified individual--one who is energetic and willing to lead by example. We seek someone who has experience with commercial pools, both in safety protocols through lifeguarding, as well as in understanding, or willing to learn, about the behind-the-scenes mechanical aspects of operating a pool. This position will help the Director of Pool Operations with leading the team of lifeguards, including their training and daily management. It requires great people skills, knowledge and understanding. This is a seasonal position (up to six months).

Primary duties include supervising the daily operations in regards to lifeguard schedules, lifeguard rotations, breaks, training and performance.

Minimum Skills Requirement:

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays (Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July, and Labor Day weekend).

Must be able to react in an emergency, have a professional and personable demeanor.

Must have strong attention to detail.
