We want someone who loves to work hard but also desires to enjoy going to work every day. The Operations and Office Assistant position is responsible for office activities, including mail, purchasing requests and facilities. Also responsible for back-office activities, including accounts payable, account receivable, human resources, and other assignments as assigned. Part of this position is to be a business assistant to the owner performing tasks such as maintaining calendar, writing emails, etc.
Essential Functions

· Partners with owner to ensure effective telephone, mail, and email communications both internally and externally to maintain professional image.
· Oversees the maintenance and alteration of office areas and equipment, as well as layout, and arrangement.
· Arranges the purchase of office supplies and furniture, office equipment, etc., in accordance with company purchasing policies and budgetary restrictions.
· Maintains office equipment.
· Applies customer payments, researches, and solves payment discrepancies, adjusts accounts as needed, prepares bank deposits.
· Processes check requests and tax payments, successfully manages all vendors and vendor payments, maintains immaculate records, and completes all projects as assigned, ensures all negotiated contracts are paid as agreed upon.
· Actively involved in the employee onboarding process, administers various human resource plans and procedures; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual, maintains all employee records; including reviews, pay rates, and benefits in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
· Prepare and distribute marketing material. Keep customer list current.
· Use the CRM system for tasks such as creating estimates, invoices, and scheduling.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional digital office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. The candidate must have a workspace and availability to take customer calls and do work from home. As the role expands, additional needs to be at a physical office location will likely increase.

Required Education and Experience
· High School Degree or equivalent.
