We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Onboarding Specialist to join our team part time (20 hours per week). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and onboarding talented caregivers who share our commitment to providing exceptional homecare services. As an Onboarding Specialist you will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring that our team is comprised of skilled and compassionate professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Admin team to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Source, screen, and interview potential caregivers to assess their qualifications and compatibility with our organization.
- Conduct background checks, reference checks, and other pre-employment screenings.Coordinate and facilitate orientation and training sessions for new hires.
- Build and maintain relationships with local educational institutions, community organizations, and job fairs to attract top talent.
- Utilize online job boards, social media, and other platforms to advertise job openings and build a strong talent pipeline.
- Provide regular updates to the Operations Coordinator on recruitment metrics, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in using a computer and able to learn various programs/software with ease.

Wages and Compensation:
- $16.00 per hour after training period (Wage starts at $13.50 for first phase of training, increases to $14.50 per hour for second phase, then increases to $16.00 per hour when training is complete. Must maintain exemplary attendance and performance during each phase in order to move on to next phase.)
- $500 Sign on Bonus
- Mileage reimbursement for miles traveled above expected weekly average.
