This is an entry level role for those wanting to enter the Human Resources sector. An HR Assistant will own the company's onboarding while support HR and Talent Acquisition team functions, you will help introduce new hires to our company's culture and operations. Your job is to ensure that each new hire adjusts to the work environment of the company during their first few days on the job.
As an onboarding specialist, your focus is on bringing new employees into the company's ecosystem and making them feel like they belong. Your duties include orientation/first day presentations, explaining company policies and procedures, communicating expectations, providing company tours, introducing team members, assisting with technology setup, and answering questions.
What you have
- Own the Full-Cycle onboarding, from HRIS to new hire's first day of employment
- Coordinate with IT and other departments to ensure strong new hire experience
- Ensure all necessary new hire documentation is complete via Paylocity HRIS platform
- Schedule and organize new hire orientations
- Prepare necessary documents, screening and feedback for the organization
- Communicate status updates to prospective candidates/employees
- Maintain good relationship with all candidates, employees and corporate clients
- Schedule interviews between candidates and Hiring Managers, Directors and Executives
- Provide administrative support to Human Resources department of the organization
- Special Projects as assigned
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Human Resources
- Very organized, responsible and detail orientated
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent team working skills
- Able to work with deadlines
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Knowledge of recruitment and legal aspects of the hiring process
- Hard working and dynamic person
- Good computer skills
- 2+ years of hands on administrative support experience·
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook a must
