Job Summary:
Catapult Solutions Group is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to serve as an on-site representative for our team members in Phoenix, AZ. The Employee Relations Specialist will play a crucial role in assisting contractors with ADP onboarding, timesheet management, and addressing any concerns or issues they may encounter during their tenure. This role requires a proactive approach, strong interpersonal skills, and a deep commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- ADP Onboarding Assistance:
- Assist contractors with the onboarding process on the ADP platform, ensuring a smooth transition and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance on completing necessary documentation and forms required for onboarding.
- Timesheet Management:
- Educate contractors on the proper usage and submission of timesheets through the ADP system.
- Offer support in resolving any timesheet-related discrepancies and issues, ensuring accurate and timely payment.
Employee Relations Support:
- Act as a point of contact for contractors to address concerns, issues, or inquiries related to their employment.
- Mediate and facilitate communication between contractors and the company to resolve grievances and maintain a positive work environment.
- Conflict Resolution:
- Proactively identify potential conflicts and issues among contractors and address them promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the HR team to implement conflict resolution strategies and provide guidance to all parties involved.
- Policy and Procedure Adherence:
- Ensure that contractors are aware of and understand company policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
- Monitor adherence to policies and address any violations, educating contractors on the importance of compliance.
Training and Development:
- Organize and facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance contractors' understanding of company processes, policies, and best practices.
- Provide guidance on professional development opportunities and resources available to contractors.
- Communication and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, concerns, and resolutions for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Regularly communicate with the HR team and management regarding trends, challenges, and areas for improvement in Employee Relations.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual: Working proficiency in English and Spanish
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Employee Relations, HR, or a related role.
- Familiarity with ADP or similar HRIS systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
