SalaryTantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) - recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace - is seeking an O&M Operations Manager. You will serve as a leader and mentor across multiple disciplines in a dynamic IT environment. You will be responsible for understanding all the technical elements in the enterprise, the architecture, and the daily O&M activities in a federal workplace.
*Hybrid role - 2 days on site in Washington, DC. *
What You'll Do
- Overall responsibility for O&M across the enterprise; full life-cycle management of IT systems and services
- Outage management and reporting
- Incident management for incidents escalated to Sys Admin team
- O&M documentation (e.g., policies, procedures, SOPs, RFCs, etc.)
- O&M capacity/demand/resource management, including hardware/software refresh and APL/EOL
- O&M (ITS) Jira Board
- Management of O&M Teams identified in org chart
- Provides oversight and QM for Data Centers
- Provides support to the Network Team
Must Haves
- 7+ years of IT Operations and Maintenance experience
- Experience in network management
- IT Leadership and mentorship experience
- Technical project leadership or management experience
Abilities
- Ability to create / update technical documentation
- Ability to create / update IT architecture diagrams
- Ability to track multiple O&M activities and understand the technical and business implications of the activities
Nice to Haves
- Bachelor's Degree
- Network Engineer certification
- PMP certification or training
- Jira experience
- Confluence experience
- Incident management experience
