Urban Pooch Training and Fitness Center is currently hiring for a full-time Office Staff / Customer Service Rep to provide excellent Customer Service while supporting our daily training operations in the Chicago, IL area. This office position earns a competitive wage of $16 - $17 per hour.

DAY-TO-DAY

As an Office Staff / Customer Service Rep, you are the backbone that supports our dog training operations and provides backup for daycare and retail. Your main responsibility is to be the communications link between our customers and our trainers, making sure that everyone is up-to-date, and that our customers are thrilled with their experience. Using your excellent computer skills, you work closely with our dog trainers to create a schedule across different platforms and to ensure that training operations run smoothly. You also accept payment for services, register clients for classes, and field questions by text, email, or phone. Whether they are in the office or on the phone, you strive to make connections with our customers. For you, this means more than just saying hello or thanks. As you engage in meaningful interactions, you let our clients know you care about them and their pooches. Your warm show of interest is one of the reasons they come back to us again and again. REQUIREMENTS FOR AN OFFICE STAFF / CUSTOMER SERVICE REP

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with Mac OS software, MS Office, Google Suite, and basic database software
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, including the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds
