Due to continued growth, we currently have a new opportunity for Infrastructure Support in our Chicago, Illinois office. In this position, you will provide exceptional support services in a fast-paced office.
Responsibilities
- Display a friendly, energetic, outgoing, and personable demeanor.
- Have strong oral and written communication skills. Be able to listen to clients' questions, anticipate their needs, and satisfy every inquiry.
- Take responsibility for the presentation and appearance of the reception area.
- Excellent work ethic, communication skills, and the ability to multi-task.
- Provide real-time scheduling support by booking rooms and preventing conflicts utilizing Outlook calendar.
- Ensure the operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; and maintaining equipment inventories.
- Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders.
- Daily reception coverage for breaks and lunch.
- Copy center assistance as needed.
- Reception coverage when the receptionist is out of the office.
- Mailroom assistance including mail runs.
- Set up conference rooms for meetings.
- Coordinate FedEx/messenger, wrap/package drawings, and other deliverables as necessary.
- Assist with office moves and packing up offices.
- Small office maintenance.
- Fulfill supply orders and replenish supply shelves.
- Refill paper in the print rooms.
- Fill refrigerators with beverages.
- Replenish kitchen area supplies.
- Ensure coffee counters are orderly.
- Purge refrigerator contents on a bi-monthly basis.
- Clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing, and copying.
- The ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Other tasks and projects as assigned.

Essential skills and experience:
- This position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and two years of experience working in an office environment
- Prior experience should include working in a professional environment, meeting established production and accuracy goals, with the ability to maintain focus on details
- Excellent communication skills (including writing and editing skills), and proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Candidate needs to be flexible, a team player, a self-starter, and be open to occasional overtime.
