IIJ (Industrial Inkjet Ltd) is a world leader in complete bespoke industrial inkjet technology. This fast-expanding company has global expertise in designing, implementing, producing, and servicing systems for customers across diverse markets.
Independently owned, IIJ is also the official sales and technical support center for Konica Minolta industrial inkjet outside of Asia, providing advice on all inkjet technology in industrial applications.
Working across numerous sectors, these range from forward-thinking niche integrators, manufacturers, printers, packaging companies and with blue-chip global brands, as well as ink suppliers. Diverse markets include pharmaceutical, security printing, confectionery, product decoration and flooring and laminates.
IIJ was founded in Cambridge and is still the location for the international headquarters. The US division is a small, fast moving, and dynamic team serving as a sales, technical support, and training facility for customers based in the Americas.
We are looking for a dynamic and flexible individual who’s comfortable working in a small office environment to help with customer service, daily shipping needs, and other office administration tasks. Working hours can be flexible but we’re planning on 6-8 hours/day, 4-5 days/week targeting late morning to early afternoon.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate mail and shipments both incoming and outgoing (ranging from boxes to large size pallets) *please note that this includes carrying up to 25-40 pounds at a time and unloading large shipments of ink on a regular basis*
- Office Administration
- Manage general phone calls.
- Coordinate general office activities (maintenance, supply restocking, cleaning company)
- Coordinate customer visits and training- Organize lunches, refreshments, reservations.
- Maintain company calendar and office scheduling.
- Update customers on shipment of orders.
- Support IIJ USA President and other staff as required.
Recommended Skills and Experience
- Customer Service experience (2+ years)
- ERP data entry (Preferred)
- Proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Dynamic individual who enjoys a small office work environment
- Active individual able to lift 35 lb. boxes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
