Priority Energy is a group of building science specialists who provide energy efficiency consulting services to builders, building owners, HVAC companies and homeowners throughout the Chicago area and beyond.
We are looking for a full-time Office Manager with bookkeeping experience. to work in our Park Ridge office five days a week, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an HVAC or construction-related office. The Office Manager will keep the office humming by answering phones, scheduling jobs for the technicians and processing invoices and payments. Must be willing to learn about the business and become an integral part of the team!
Responsibilities includes:
- Answering calls, explaining our services, and directing calls.
- Scheduling field jobs for five associates using Outlook calendar.
- Creating QuickBooks invoices and collecting payment for each job (A/R).
- Preparing job estimates, waivers, and requesting insurance documents.
- Paying invoices (A/P).
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in a customer service role.
- 3 years of experience using Outlook calendars and scheduling jobs for a small team.
- 3 years of experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Familiarity with the Chicago area for job scheduling.
- Strong communication and phone skills.
- Organization and attention to detail.
