Looking for an experienced, well-rounded, self-motivated Office Manager with exceptional customer service skills to support the leadership, instructors, students, and parents at Sew Happy’s Mamaroneck studio. The candidate must be organized, creative, and excited to help take Sew Happy’s business to the next level.
The following duties are expected:
- Be a face and voice of Sew Happy – connecting with parents and students on the phone and in-person to answer questions, support registrations, etc.
- Create and maintain a studio experience that is on-brand — clean, bright, welcoming & Sew Happy! This includes keeping the studio tidy, refreshing photos, marketing materials, and decorations.
- Inventory & storage - track, order, and organize materials as needed.
- Lead the coordination of studio classes
- Support marketing and outreach work to make sure all seats are filled
- Schedule studio classes on Sawyer software (no previous experience required)
- Follow up with special needs/allergy students to make sure needs are met.
- Make sure studio classes get up & running smoothly.
- Liaise with parents throughout the class.
- Support leadership on special projects. Support staff, and instructors as needed.
- Outstanding customer service & communication skills required. Familiarity with spreadsheets, scheduling software, and social media is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
