Fabco Shoes is a family-owned shoe company established in 1953, operating out of New York and New Jersey. Our offices are located in Elmhurst, Queens. We have 43 locations for which we develop and import merchandise from China. We are hiring an Office Manager. The responsibilities include
- Payroll
- Customer service and HR for our stores
- Sorting mail
- Invoicing merchandise we receive
- Directing warehouse personnel on a daily basis
- Organizing all the freight imported from China and California.
The applicant will learn how to read freight importing documents, handle duty calculations, and organize deliveries to our warehouse. If you do not have prior experience in import/export, extensive training will be provided. The follow prerequisites are required:
- Experience in office management
- Background in a fast paced work environment
- Advanced PDF editing skills (Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam)
- Highly Organized with a professional history of tracking multiple ongoing tasks/projects
- Spanish and Mandarin speaking are big advantages.
- Excel experience is a plus.
Applicants must be hard working, highly organized, able to efficiently manage their time, and have strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
