Office Manager Job Description
Hilton Head Exterminators is hiring an Office Manager for our Hilton Head location. The Office Manager will organize and coordinate office administration and procedures, to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. The Office Manager is responsible for developing intra-office communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures, invoicing, accounts receivables, office staff supervision and task delegation.
We are looking for an energetic professional who enjoys working in a fast-pace, fun environment. Experience handling a wide range of administrative and customer support related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Salary will be based on candidate’s skillset and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Point person for invoicing, accounts receivables, customer service, office supplies, and equipment.
- Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
- Partner with HR to maintain office policies as necessary
- Organize office operations and procedures
- Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment
- Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time
- Provide general support to customers and visitors
- Establish a historical reference for the office by outlining procedures for protection, retention, record disposal/archiving
- Ensure that results are measured against standards, while making necessary changes along the way
- Allocate tasks and assignments to subordinates and monitor their performance
- Responsible for recruiting staff for the office and providing orientation and training to new employees
- Responsible for ensuring office financial objectives are met for the office, analyzing variances and carrying out necessary corrections that may arise
- Responsible for developing standards and promoting activities that enhance operational procedures
Requirements:
- Proven office management experience
- Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures
- Knowledge of clerical practices and procedures

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
