Office Manager

Job Summary:
As the Office Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you will oversee various administrative tasks and lead the office team to deliver exceptional service to our patients and staff. You will be responsible for implementing office policies and procedures, managing resources, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Office Management:
- Supervise administrative staff and ensure proper staffing levels to support daily operations.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities to ensure a conducive working environment.
2. Communication and Collaboration:
- Serve as a liaison between the office staff, clinical team, and management to facilitate smooth communication and workflow coordination.
- Collaborate with billing and insurance departments to verify patient coverage and ensure accurate billing for services rendered.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other relevant activities to contribute to the overall success of the practice.
3. Team Leadership
- Provide Leadership and guidance to the office team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, address challenges, and celebrate achievements
- Identify training and development opportunities for staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Experience in a medical environment.
- Experience supervising, coaching and developing staff.
- Working knowledge of Optometry/Ophthalmology industry.
- Relevant training certifications in industry topics helpful.
