Job Description:
The Education Program Department at Central College seeks a dynamic, service-oriented manager to maintain education student records and databases for program accreditation, maintain correspondence related to student placement, assist with program requirements and events, and supervise student employees. This position is essential to support faculty, staff, and school partners in the education of Central's undergraduate student population involved in the education program. Reporting to the Director of Education, this position offers opportunities to coordinate academic events and provide support to the department for program accreditation. The successful candidate will be detail-orientated who enjoys working with undergraduate students and faculty.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- 10-month (1 August-31 May), 20 hours per week
- 8 hours per week in June and July
- Preferred start January 2024
Requirements:
- High school graduate with at least two years of related experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with college students.
- Excellent communication and human relations skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to maintain a quality of service while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Experience working with databases and Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Teams)
- Ability to work with confidential material and maintain confidentiality.
- Training beyond high school with knowledge of office support procedures and computer operations with over 12 months up to and including 3 years of effective experience.
- Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds.
