We are looking for a Office Manager / Bookkeeper / Accountant to perform a variety of bookkeeping, payroll, general accounting, administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of this position include performing bookkeeping and payroll services for clients, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s Rapid City branch general administrative activities. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills, experience using all versions of Quickbooks and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel/Word. Experience and/or education in the accounting industry is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Act as the point of contact for clients
- Perform both live and after-the-fact payroll duties
- Perform both live and after-the-fact bookkeeping services
Skills
- Proven experience in an office administration or bookkeeping position
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like computers and printers
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular) and Quickbooks
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work and work independently
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- High School degree or equivalent required; additional education/experience/qualifications in the accounting field will be a big plus
