Ambler Counseling Center, an established private practice, is searching for a one-of-a-kind Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to join our team. We pride ourselves in offering a non-judgmental, accommodating presence to any prospective clients or community members who seek our support in linkage with services (whether with us or another provider). Our Administrative Assistant / Receptionist will be one of the FIRST voices/faces to greet prospective and current clients.
Ambler Counseling Center is a family-owned, boutique-style private therapy practice. Qualified candidates for this position will provide administrative support services for our outpatient therapy office including (but not limited to):
- Answer office phone line
- Respond to inquiries about pricing
- Reach out to potential clients that contact us through our site
- Schedule and/or complete phone consultations, assessing for needs and risk
- Add new clients to patient portal and send intake documentation
- Scheduling and rescheduling for our medical team
- Practice-wide update e-mails and/or phone calls
- Provide referral information to prospective clients who may benefit from other services or practices
- Greets clients on-site, direct clients to the waiting space if need be
- Billing (preferred, but not required)
- Community outreach where appropriate
- Daily on-site tasks such as checking the mailboxes, checking faxes, receiving packages, alerting directors of any on-site needs
- Other tasks as needed
Schedule is 4 days, typically M-Th 9am-3pm - hours may shift as needed to accommodate private practice needs.
