Construction Contractor with office located in West Islip I seeking an Office
Manage with previous construction office experience preferred. Qualified candidates must have 5+ year of administrative experience in a construction or equal. Work independently managing the day-to-day office needs, fast learner must have basic understanding of contractor lingo/process. One person office.
Flexible hours.
Must Be Familiar with: o Obtain required insurance certificates for project if needed and keep updated certificates for all subcontractors. o Issue contracts, POs to vendors and subcontractors. o Coordinate Permits o Log payments and receivables into Quickbooks and other computer software. o Prepare clients’ invoices. o Take receipts of materials at the office and organize them by project. o Detail oriented and the ability to handle a no-nonsense approach, fast paced work environment, o Possess a strong sense of urgency and know to how to prioritize work. o Be highly responsive to requests, ability to move on to another task and juggle multiple requests, work quickly and effectively with minimal supervision. o Excellent computer skills. o Office Support such as answering phones, filing, copying scanning and emailing documents and other general office duties. o NYS Notary Public a plus. o Salary commensurate with experience.

Pay: $22.50 - $30.00 per hour
