Position Summary: The Office Assistant is responsible for clerical duties and assisting staff when needed to ensure services delivered as a Medicaid Mental Health Rehabilitation provider.
Qualifications:
Must be at least an associate degree with a clerical background with a vast knowledge of secretarial.

Major Task List:
1. Responsibilities include but are not limited to record and note taking during
executive meetings and team meetings when needed.
2. Record, chart, and file important documents of the agency.
3. Set up the agency daily for its operation.
4. Organize and maintain all recipient service delivery charts.
5. Assist with inputting all data into the EMR system for chart reviews and proper record keeping.
6. Perform all secretarial duties and tasks as required.
7. Complete contact and intake information on recipients.
8. Place reminder phone calls to recipients for their scheduled doctor’s appointments to ensure their compliance.
9. Assist with collecting all recipient and staff surveys.
10. Schedule, maintain and organize all in-office appointments, including doctors’ visits.
11. Inform all agency staff of meetings, training, and appointments.
12. Cooperates well with other staff, and works well under pressure and

14. Will assist with servicing recipients during doctor’s visits by addressing any concerns and forwarding those to appropriate staff to address.
15. Assist with maintaining supply inventory.
16. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and healthy environment as specified by OSHA/OMH/DHH.
17. Develop self and always maintain knowledge in relevant field related to mental health and its standards.
