Job Description
- Effectively communicate with witnesses, clients, and colleagues.
- Produce and file various legal documents such as motions, petitions, or judgments with courts.
- Answer phone calls, take notes/messages, and redirect calls when appropriate.
- Maintain and update confidential files.
- Relaying communication and negotiating terms between clients and defendants.
- Scheduling court dates and managing office calendar.
- Verifying employment.
Skills:
- Proven experience working in an office setting.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and experience with Casenet is a plus.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Outstanding time-management and typing skills.
- Ability to multitask and be comfortable dealing with a diverse pool of people.
