Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity for growth and development within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the office staff
- Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings
- Manage calendars and arrange travel arrangements
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Greet visitors and provide them with assistance
- Assist with office management tasks such as ordering supplies and maintaining inventory
- Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and photocopying
- Assist with project coordination and follow-up on action items
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative or Office Assistant role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Excellent calendar management skills
- Knowledge of administrative procedures and basic accounting principles
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or clerk is a plus
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills
