Job Description:
The Intermodal Dispatchers will control and maintain the schedule of booking containers as directed, and to build relationships with third parties to enable them to work with The DeLong Co., Inc.

- Check and manage container inventory at the yard
- Good customer service relations
- Help with logistics and rail billing
- Dispatching both loaded and empty containers
- Receptionist duties
- All other duties assigned by management
Requirements:
- Demonstrate respect when speaking to others
- Take initiative and go beyond basic expectations
- Ability to work both under direct supervision and alone
- Willingness to accept criticism and to work well with others
- Telephone, email and internet experience
- Strong organization skills
- Strong ability to use Microsoft Office, Excel
- To communicate effectively in person, on the phone, or through email.
Previous intermodal rail experience with BNSF and Union Pacific preferred but not required
