Office Assistant/ Public Relations Coordinator

Looking for a Part Time Independent Contractor. Flexible work times and days of week. Ideally at least 4 hours per day several days a week.

Would be good opportunity for parent with kids in school or a college student.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answer phones and assists customers with questions and requests.
• Take messages as needed for other staff.
• Print emails
• Perform scanning as needed.
• File customer paperwork
• Marketing and social media
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Basic customer service knowledge and experience
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Have a professional, pleasant, patient, and friendly attitude
• Ability to be detail oriented and follow established workflow systems
• Reliable and consistent attendance and work performance.
• Experience with Mac Operating Systems and QuickBooks preferred
• Ability to keep customer information secure and confidential
• Willingness to take on new tasks and duties, learn new systems to support business functions and effectiveness

Minimum Qualifications (Education and Experience):

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. One year of administrative assistance or customer service is preferred.

Physical Environment and Demands:

Work is performed in an office setting sharing space with other employees. Work performed on a computer, basic office equipment, and on a phone. Scheduled hours are flexible but occur during regular hours of operations from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Pay is Bi-Weekly
