Office Assistant
- Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
- Shifts: Mon-Fri 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Temporary Contract position with Raise with potential for full time with ADM
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check is required.

Summary:
The position requires a dedicated, dependable, and detail-oriented person with the desire to provide extraordinary administrative support. You will gain a deep understanding of the dynamics of the business and priorities of the company. Performing administrative duties and support staff members to perform clerical duties. You will report to the Plant Manager and has no direct reports. Will be working in concert with supervisory personnel in Operations, Lab, Sales, Commercial, and ADM Corporate Officers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform a broad range of responsibilities, ranging from routine to complex, while maintaining a calm and confident persona
- Ensure confidentiality on matters related to the commercial and operations
- Assemble and coordinate the preparation of documents Perform back up duties during co-worker absence (cross-training)Cross-train other administrative positions for backup and vacation coverage
- Handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, shipping documents, production reporting, record retention and various month end applications
- Customer support
- Maintain office filing system (including record retention) in paper and electronic formats
Job Requirements:
- Associates degree preferred or minimum two - five years� experience in related field required
- Track record of exceptional achievement with a demonstrated desire and ability to actively take on significant work
- A strong spirit of partnership, teamwork, and a validated ability to champion and maintain positive working relationships with people at all levels inside and outside of the organization
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with an eye for detail and follow-up
- Proven ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and adapt to changes in environment and responsibilities.
- Dedication to continuous learning
- Good thorough knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Power Point, Excel)Ability to make good independent decisions
- Willingness to participate in training to improve skills related to leadership and office management
- Excellent organizations skill and strict attention to detail
- Ability to handle diverse activities and concurrent projects
- Ability to resolve routine problems independently
- Excellent social, leadership, and communications skills are required, including creative problem-solving abilities when called for
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork; analyze and tackle problems; organize and coordinate; champion a collaborative work environment; and maintain efficient office workflow
