Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support and assisting with various tasks. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Duties:
- Perform general clerical duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling mail
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Assist with order entry and data entry tasks
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Assist with proofreading and transcribing documents
- Support the front desk by welcoming guests and providing them with necessary information
- Assist with various administrative tasks as assigned
Skills:
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
- Familiarity with office procedures and equipment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
