Attleboro Kitchen & Bath is seeking an Office Assistant. A qualified candidate will have a professional demeanor, excellent in-person and telephone customer service skills, be experienced in the Microsoft Office Suite, proficient in typing, and fabulous communication skills via phone/in-person/email in order to communicate effectively with the designers, vendors, clients, and contractors. The position is 9am-3pm, Tuesday through Friday, and the starting hourly wage is $18+, commensurate upon experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the office staff
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
- Prepare and transcribe documents, correspondence, and reports
- Maintain office files and records in an organized manner
- Assist with project coordination and follow-up tasks
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and phone systems
- Excellent computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Exceptional attention to detail for accurate data entry and document preparation
- Outstanding customer service skills to interact with clients and visitors professionally
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
