Job Description
We are seeking a responsible and reliable Office Assistant, with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. The tasks of this position will be diverse, incorporating a number of different elements. We are an educational company with a 30+ year history, and still growing. Our Certification program is an evidence-based practice and professional membership, the Office Assistant working closely with the founder, will gain the skills and understanding to assist our Program. Looking for the right leadership, energy and motivation to help drive company success. We hope to have some medical benefits in the near future. Typical days we are looking for are between Monday - Thursday - 18 - 24 hours to begin. Pay range depends on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in a variety of office responsibilities in relation to program
- Emails and Renewal System, some quick books invoicing only
- Draft correspondences and assist with other formal documents
- Organize and schedule events, assist in setting up materials for courses
- Review and implement organized filing systems, both manual and electronically
- Perform all other office tasks including assist in shipping out materials
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an office administrator/business/ Office Assistant or relevant role (degree preferred)
- Ability to prioritize and multitask, meet deadlines, absolute
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Creative, flexible, motivated for success, positive attitude
Office Skills Required:
- Proficient computer skills. Main systems are Macintosh OS and Windows, then followed by PC
- Accurate minimum typing skill 50 wpm (tested)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. We have a variety of accreditations, endorsement documents and contracts that we oversee
- Knows/understands Word Press, Woo Commerce, Filemaker Pro, Quickbooks,
- Knows and understands a variety of applications, web, google docs, google workspace, social media platforms
- Assists in posting on social media platforms
- Graphic skills are helpful as we have a newsletter, Adobe
