- Position Overview:
In this role, you will be expected to perform a variety of office and support tasks including answering phones, greeting customers, preparing correspondence, maintaining office files, ordering office supplies, and taking payments from residents. You need to ensure that the pool and surrounding areas including the pool bathrooms are opened and well-stocked. And should an emergency come up, you will be one of the valued members who may be called on to assist. As the “brand ambassador” for YES! Communities, your presence and overall professionalism will be on full display. You will also assist your Community Manager with the timely completion of projects and help maintain a positive community environment.
Essential Functions:
- Answer phones and greet customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Prepare correspondence as directed.
- Maintain office resident and home files
- Enter work orders as provided by residents
- Order and verify receipt of supplies
- Maintain office equipment
- Collect payments from residents and assist them with electronic payment set-up
- Open and close pool area at designated times
- Ensure pool furniture is arranged neatly
- Identify any pool deficiencies and/or supplies and notify Community Manager
- Verify everyone entering the pool has a pool pass as needed by community
- Ensure no one under the age of 14 is allowed into the pool area without an adult
- Enforce all pool rules as followed
- Secure the pool at designated time each night • Report any problems to Community Manager
- Complete all work in a timely manner, without sacrificing quality
- Maintain professional behavior without interfering with the individual’s work, interrupting the work of another team member, or disturbing the quality of life for community residents
- Required Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be self-motivated, independent and able to work with minimal supervision
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office software products
- Effectively communicate with residents and management
- Required to regularly push pull lift or carry 25 lbs.
- Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous office administration experience a plus
- A valid driver’s license is required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 34 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends only
