Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role as an Office Administrator at Lirios Pediatrics in Austin, TX. The Office Administrator will report to the Executive Director and be responsible for performing various administrative and clerical tasks to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. This includes overseeing clinic operations, scheduling appointments, coordinating with healthcare providers, acting as a liaison for the volunteers, and providing excellent customer service to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Office Administrator, office assistant, or similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands
- Experience in a healthcare or medical office setting is preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or related field is a plus
