Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The Administrator will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This is a key role that requires excellent organizational skills, strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Preference will be given to candidates that are fluent in both Spanish and English.
Duties
- Answering phone calls and monitoring emails, directing messages as appropriate
- Greeting visitors and providing them with assistance and information
- Managing church calendar and scheduling approved space use requests
- Maintaining office supplies and inventory
- Developing and printing weekly worship and special occasion bulletins
- Preparing congregational mailings and annual parochial reports
- Maintaining filing systems and organizing documents
- Providing general administrative support to staff members
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative role required, preferably in a church
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Fluency in Spanish and English preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of office management procedures and systems
- Experience in bookkeeping is a plus
- Familiarity with Constant Contact mailing platform is a plus
